Sunday, when we were in Idaho, we were rebels and decided to skip my parents Stake Conference and take a jaunt over to Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, It was so beatiful and the water was very high and raging. They say it's the Niagra Falls of the west. If you ever get a chance go and check it out. Make sure to go in the spring and by 10 am or else you will be waiting for hours to get into the park. We had a great time and enjoyed the beauty of the earth that God has given us.

Maelle's first lost tooth!

Maelle was so excited when she lost her first tooth. She was tough and pulled it out herself.

Since it's spring break me and a friend took our kids to the Utah Museum of Natural History. It was a lot of fun. They had a cool frog exhibit and a creepy bug exhibit. Sydney really enjoyed the rock exhibit and Maelle just had a good time period. It was a great day! After the museum we went and had lunch at The Pie. What great pizza.

Leo- Our best pet yet!

Our sweet, sweet kitty Leo passed away about a month ago. He was such a good cat. We loved him so much. According to the vet he had been sick for quite awhile but we never knew it. She said that cats are really good at hiding illnesses due to their nature of having to not show weakness in the wild. One night he was drooling everywhere, which is unusual, and he was not himself at all. I took him to the emergency vet at midnight. He was going downhill fast so they did some bloodwork. They told me that he was diabetic and had some kind of pancreatic problem. Even if we kept him alive he would have had to be hospitalized for who knows how long with no garauntee of getting better. If he did get well he would have had to be on numerous meds. I knew we had to put him to sleep. We miss him a lot. He brought a lot of joy into our home. We know we will see him again. The other day I was talking with Sydney about him. I said "Syd this might sound a little crazy but we know we will see him again when we die and what if he can talk to us or we can understand animals in some way." She said to me "Mom you really are going to the nut house!" We will see. I don't doubt that I am on my way to the nut house some days but I do hope we will be able to understand animals better there than we understand them here on earth. Call me crazy!

Ogden Canyon Waterfall Hike

Saturday Kim and Carolyn came up and we went on a hike. Now none of us had been on this hike before but Dave and I were told by an older couple that this hike was easy, beautiful and lots of fun. We decided that this would be a great hike for all of us especially since Dave, myself and the girls were pretty thrashed from Raging Waters the day before. The hike started out easy and got more beautiful as the hike went up the mountain. UP, UP and UP we went. If we knew what we were getting ourselves into we would have stayed in bed that morning. No really it was fun to be out in nature and together with the fam. We really had a great time and can look back and laugh.

Raging Waters!

Friday was Madison's birthday so we all headed to Raging Waters. We were there for 8 hours and by the time we left we were all haggered. It was such a great day! Happy Birthday Madison!

We had such a great 4th of July! We headed up to Idaho and on the 4th had a BBQ at my parents Bishop's house on the river and then we headed to my parents house that evening and had dinner and an awesome illegal fireworks show. I love the 4th of July!
